“It all started when I had a fall at work. After several surgeries I had massive muscle wasting on my leg. Through Caitlin’s hard work she has helped me with setting small goals that were achievable. I have been gaining strength and muscle tone in my leg and knee ever since.”

Perth workplace injury management with O2 Active – Your pathway with us

Here’s what to expect if you have therapy for your workplace injury with O2 Active.

Step 1: Your first visit

This visit is about getting to know you. We’ll complete an assessment and take the time to understand your injury, your work role, and your recovery goals. We’ll use this information to design an exercise program to set you on the road to healing and return to work.

Step 2: Exercise therapy

Next, we’ll work closely alongside you as you recover and regain function. You can visit us at our state-of-the-art North Fremantle clinic, or we can come to you at work, your home, the gym or pool. Your program will include a range of exercises, and we’ll support you to complete them safely and effectively.

Step 3: Review and progression

As you get better, it’s important to modify your program. We’ll update it as you progress, with a focus on building your functional capacity for your workplace role. We’ll also give you a program you can continue with to help reduce your risk of injuries in future. We will keep your injury management consultant, specialists and insurance case manager up to date with your progress along the way.
