Paediatrics & Youth

Perth NDIS Paediatric Provider

Our tailored exercise and lifestyle programs improve physical function, strength, fitness, and mental wellbeing – while helping your child develop qualities such as confidence, resilience, persistence, and the fulfilment that comes from achieving their gaols. They also foster team building and development of social and communication skills.

Our mobile and in clinic exercise physiologists work with children and youth of all ages and abilities throughout Perth, from Mandurah to Joondalup and Armadale to the coast, as well as in regional areas including Northam, York, Merredin and the eastern Wheatbelt area. We can visit your home, school, workplace, pool, park, or gym. Or come and see us at our North Fremantle clinic.

The O2 Active difference – why choose us as your Perth NDIS paediatric providers

WE BUILD FOUNDATIONS FOR LIFE

Our team help your child use their body to its full potential, through better motor planning, body awareness, communication, and cooperation with others. Our programs provide a foundation for developing a range of skills, including fine motor skills like writing, cognitive skills like reading, and social skills like sharing.

WE INSTILL CONFIDENCE

The skills and growth mindset our programs are based on translate into everyday life. In our physical programs, your child learns to process their emotions and gain social competence. Through energy, movement and stillness, your child learns to respond to their moods and feelings. Our mentoring helps your child develop a positive relationship with their body and health. Achieving their goals creates a strong sense of purpose and fulfilment.

WE ENCOURAGE NEW EXPERIENCES

Our programs give children the opportunity to move through new experiences in a fun, exploratory environment. This helps your child engage and learn, further enhancing their sensory, cognitive, social, emotional and communication skills and building their independence.

Want to know what to expect when you start working with our exercise physiologists? Here’s what it looks like.
