Chronic disease management
You may be able to access exercise physiology with a GP care plan or through the Integrated Chronic Disease Care (ICDC) program. Talk to your GP about getting a referral and have them send it through to us at admin@o2active.com.au or Book here when you’re ready.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs
DVA Gold Card holders and some White Card holders can get services from a registered exercise physiologist. You’ll need a referral from your GP, medical specialist or treating hospital doctor. Book here when you’re ready or have them send us the paperwork.
Why WA people trust us with their health – from the bay to the bush
Clinical expertise
Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists are university qualified health professionals. Whether you have an injury, disability, or chronic disease, we have the expertise to help you.
Focus on you
Every person on our team is dedicated to helping you move, feel and live better through the power of exercise and movement.
We make movement fun
Not everybody is a keen exerciser – we get it if you feel that way. But every body can benefit from exercise and movement. We’ll work with you to create a program that’s fun and fits in with your everyday life.
We take safety seriously
Our programs are designed to be effective and safe. We’ll encourage you to achieve what you’re capable of. But we’ll never push you past your limits or to do anything that seems too risky.
Holistic approach
We consider all aspects of your health, including your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. We work closely with other health professionals to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of your health. We write regular reports to referring practitioners to let them know how you’re going.
What is exercise physiology?
Our bodies are made to move. Physical activity can help with everything from muscle strength to mood and heart health to arthritis.
Exercise physiology taps into the power of movement and exercise to help you feel, move and live better.
Exercise physiologists are university-qualified allied health professionals. They have extensive training in how the body works and responds to exercise. This means they design physical activity programs not just for healthy people, but also for people with chronic health conditions, disability, and injuries.
