So, hopefully you have all started the year off with a bang and are well into  kicking your health and fitness goals for the year.  This is a great time of the year to reset and take a look at the last 12 months… What did you achieve?  What do you ant to achieve in the next 12 months?

By setting a goal, you set a bar, something to aim for.  Goal setting helps us to move forward and strive towards improving ourselves.  You don’t get in a car and start driving without having a destination in mind so time to set your own personal destinations… Lifestyle… Health… Personal Development… Work… Family and Relationships.  Start to create new positive habits and leave the bad ones behind.
In changing habits is normal to slip up.  Instead of deciding that you have failed once more at becoming more heathy or whatever your goal may be, I want you to look at these lapses as an opportunity to bounce back.  Have a quick check in with yourself on how you feel for falling off track.  This should reaffirm why you want to make this change and allow you to bounce back stronger on your second chance with more determination than ever.
Your change will be the sum of all your actions that become your habits.  Those habits you create become your values and will shape your life.  A few small negative set backs or hurdles will not out weight all the positives that you have done in working towards your goals!  If it was easy, everybody would do it!

Even Jess (my dog for those of you who haven’t met her) needs a second… third… fourth…chance when I am teaching her her “habits”.  A treat never goes astray to reward her for achieving her goal.  However, a Schmacko may not be your choice of treat, treat yourself and try a massage, walk on the beach or some you time for getting back on track!  I want you to use the goal setting sheet this week and plan a treat over the weekend at some point to reward yourself for your hard work.  It doesn’t have to be costly, just something you enjoy doing.

Wishing you all a fabulous Year!!
Caitlin & Jess 🙂
